Solar Mounting Structures in Kerala
Consider fixing, roof protection, corrosion exposure and access as part of the engineering scope.

Why the structure matters
The mounting arrangement supports the array and connects it to the roof or supporting structure. It should be selected around the site, rather than judged only by the height or appearance of the finished installation. V Power’s premium-structure positioning focuses on strength, appropriate fixing, weather exposure and durability.
Questions for the site assessment
| Consideration | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Roof condition | Whether the roof and supporting structure are suitable; who is responsible for assessment. |
| Height and access | Required clearance, access for maintenance and the effect of the proposed height. |
| Wind exposure | The design responsibility and the site conditions used; no universal rating should be assumed. |
| Corrosion | Materials, coatings, fixings and exposure conditions, including coastal environments. |
| Waterproofing | How penetrations, drainage and roof protection will be addressed. |
Avoid common specification gaps
Do not accept a generic material label as a substitute for a mounting specification. Ask about the connections and fasteners as well as the main members. Ensure maintenance access is considered before the final panel layout is agreed. Keep water paths and existing roof functions in the discussion.
There is no single recommended structure height for every Kerala roof. A raised installation can introduce different structural, access and cost considerations. The design should be reviewed by appropriately qualified personnel.
After installation
Keep the agreed inspection and maintenance information with the handover documents. Visible corrosion, loose components or roof leakage should be referred to the installer. Do not attempt structural or electrical repairs based on this guide.
