Solar Maintenance & Monitoring Guide
Know what to monitor and when to contact a qualified service team.

Monitor trends, not a single cloudy day
Review generation trends and any system alerts through the installed monitoring system. Weather and seasonal conditions affect output, so a day-to-day difference alone does not diagnose a fault. Keep records of unusual changes to share with the service team.
Agree a service plan
Clarify which inspections, cleaning arrangements and monitoring support are included. Access, water supply, equipment requirements and site conditions can influence the work. V Power’s 10-year service warranty is subject to the applicable written terms and should not be treated as an all-inclusive replacement guarantee.
What to keep after handover
- Module and inverter models, warranty records and installation documentation.
- Monitoring access and the installer’s support contact.
- Service reports and any fault history.
- A safe-access plan and agreed maintenance responsibilities.
Do not climb onto the roof or open electrical equipment to investigate an issue. Report faults and let qualified personnel assess them. Confirm the cost and approval process for work outside the service scope.
